First time posting back here. I have been focusing on weightlifting for the past 6weeks in prep for the state championships. Now, changing to balancing olifting/general strength/general conditioning for soccer and life. Will start to incorporate more circuits/muscular endurance training.

IL State Championships
Buffalo Grove, IL
Wt 82.5kg, competed 85kg Masters
Snatch:
87-2WL, 1RL (I felt a slight pressout)-happy to be on the board
92-3WL, had to step backwards to recover, but got it
97-3WL, again had to save it by adjusting backwards.
Gym PR is 215lbs, 97.5kg
Clean and Jerk
115-2WL, 1RL-I felt the right arm pressout, so again happy to be on the board
120-3WL-had to fight the jerk
123-3WL-solid. This felt good and was a true PR
Total:220kg and 6/6
Very hurried day. I got there as the meet started, weighed in and quickly warmed up. I did my standard warm-up and was ready in about 15min. I think how I train daily, very structured warm-up and be ready to hit bigger weights within 15min paid off today. On the snatch I did 40-50-60-70-80-85, then went out.
For the clean and jerk, I redid my entire warm-up: mobility, foam roll, and warm-up with 60-80-100-105-110, then went out.
I have not blogged in awhile, by I have been putting my daily training up here
