Run/Muscle-ups

This took about 2 min longer then I thought it would. I did the first round of MU unbroken, the second was 4-1, the third was 2-1-1-1 and the final was singles. I need to develop my muscle up ability more.

Still a solid time considering you're in rehab. Next time we get together, I'd like to spend some time on the MU with you. I would think with your help I could do at least 1 since I believe I have the strength for it. Just never really tried them before.

How you feeling? Better I hope?

Nice WOD. I think I might try it with a little jumping MU. Good idea or do you think I should practice MU alone and sub MU for Dips & Pull Ups? I have not got one yet and it really frustrates me.

DUs: Are you skipping with a speed rope? Do exactly what you are doing. Practice. Always do a couple of single skips before attempting the DU. I even do this in a WOD. If I mess up the skip I will restart with a single and move back into doubles. Did I tell you I just did the POSE Cert? I can send you 6 weeks of skills and drills if you are interested. They are a little hard to understand if you haven't done them before. I wish I could go through all of them with you really quickly.

Thanks fot eh MU tip. I searched for "GSX Muscle Up" and found another good explanation (similar to yours) that included keeping thumbs close to your chest. Makes sense if I am gonig to keep my elbows in. Working on strict pull up instead of kipping pull ups during my warm up is something else I am going to start to do. Maybe it will give me a little more strength.
